Selena, the Tejano performer who fatally shot dead by a gunshot accident caused an Latino reaction that could be compared with the response to the deaths of Elvis Presley and John Lennon's death. The most well-known Latino performer in North America, Selena's music has touched many lives across different cultures. Selena may have been hailed by some as a Latina Madonna, however she is still a great example to follow.
